Fall 2011
Winter is off to an early start! Snow in October is a Halloween trick we could have lived without. I was fortunate to be without electricity for only about 15 hours, but I knew of many others who were without for over a week. The streets here are still piled high with broken trees, so now the race is on to clear them before the streets need plowing. Thankfully November has been very warm, so I'm taking that as a good sign for a mild winter... at least until I'm proven wrong! Sadly I've heard tonight's rain could turn to snow... Here's hoping they are wrong and I am right!

 Cotting School Annual Report Illustrations
The theme of the Cotting School's Annual Report was "A Day in the Life". Gardiner Design was hired to create a series of 8 whimsical illustrations of clocks mirroring the hourly & daily activities of some their current students. The APWG continues it's mission to wipe out phishing, and has international events throughout each year. Here are three of the logos Gardiner Design recently created for events in Malaysia, Ireland, and San Deigo.  Nobscot Artisan Cheese Logo
This logo is for a new Artisan Cheese Maker based at a farm in Framingham. Gardiner Design will also be creating labels and a website.  Award Submission Entry cover
Larry Rhodes wanted a cover for his submission to the "Ohio Academy of Science and Ohio State Bar Association Legacy Award" for the amount of patents (55) he'd been awarded. Since Larry is not yet 55 Years old, I came up with the title "55 in less than 55", drew his profile, and listed his 55 patents (black), and numerical patent numbers (orange) as brain waves. Chris Flisher's new websites
Gardiner Design created a website for Astrologer, Artist, and Radio Personality, Chris Flisher several years ago. In the years since, Chris has been maintaining and adding to the site, and as the scope of his work grew, so did the site itself. The website became overly text and image heavy and lacked any delineation of his three specailties. So he again hired Gardiner Design to create three individual, yet integrated sites, each focusing on one of his specialties. Visit his new site/s here. 
In the works: Annie's Gluten Free Bakery logo & website
Gardiner Design created a a new logo for friend, Annie Cronin, for her new Gluten-Free Bakery business. I am currently working on the website design shown above... comp shows stock images (istockphoto.com) that will likely be replaced with photos of Annie's own baked goods! 
Worcester Education Collaborative Logo and Collateral Material
"Pieces of a puzzle,
people coming together around a table, an apple of a different color." This is how the Worcester Education Collaborative describes their new logo. Also shown are some of the additional collateral pieces I've designed since creating the logo for this brand new non-profit. 
In the works: Whitin Community Center and Blackstone Valley Children's Place websites
Coming soon, a renovated Whitin Community Center website, and a brand new one for their Childcare affiliate, the Blackstone Valley Children's Place. The new site will include several flash movies, a shopping cart to sign up for membership and classes, as well as a user interface so the staff can make future updates themselves. Look for both this winter! 
Lisa Shea Medieval Romance Novels Bookcovers series (5 of 10)
I have done many projects for Lisa Shea over the years. The latest are the first 5 of 10 bookcovers for her medieval romance novels. Lisa wanted imagery done in a stained glass look and needed clean images that would reproduce well as inch wide thumbnails for online sales.
